Brief Bio
Professor Mhamed SAYYOURI received his Bachelor's degree in Physics with a specialization in Electronics in 1996, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Numerical Analysis in 2002. He obtained a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Approfondies (DESA) in Automation and Information Processing in 2004, and later earned his National Doctorate in Signal, Systems, and Computer Science in 2014 from the Faculty of Sciences Dhar El Mahraz (FSDM), Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (USMBA), Fez, Morocco. Professor SAYYOURI is currently an accredited professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the National School of Applied Sciences of Fez, Morocco. He is the co-author of more than 130 publications in indexed international journals, international conferences, and book chapters. His research interests include pattern recognition, computer/machine vision, computational intelligence, machine learning, feature extraction, evolutionary optimization, as well as signal and image processing. Dr. SAYYOURI serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences. He is also a member of the ISA Lab and head of the "Automation, Signals, and Systems" research team. Additionally, he holds the position of Academic Editor for the International Journal of Digital Multimedia Broadcasting and Advances in Mathematical Physics .

The special session "Advances in Image Security: Cryptography, Watermarking, and Steganography" at the 6th International Conference on Image Processing and Vision Engineering (IMPROVE 2026) showcases cutting-edge research and technological breakthroughs. PUBLICATIONS

After thorough reviewing by the special session program committee, all accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book - under an ISBN reference - and abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, INSPEC, Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST), Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus and zbMATH. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
